Chandelier hung from a 24-foot ceiling in Fuquay-Varina

A brand-new Fuquay-Varina home with a 24-foot living room ceiling. We set up scaffolding over a covered floor, assembled the chandelier in place and hung it at the height the homeowners wanted, then added a kitchen outlet on the same visit.

The story

What the homeowners called about

They needed a new chandelier hung in their living room.

What we found

A 24-foot ceiling, too high to hang a heavy fixture from a ladder.

What we couldn't know until we got there

Exactly how tall the room was, and whether the job needed scaffolding or a ladder.

The options we gave them

A written quote to hang the chandelier, plus a new outlet they wanted in the kitchen.

What they chose, and why

Both: the chandelier and the kitchen outlet, done the same day.

Why scaffolding: at 24 feet, a stable, level platform is the safe way to assemble and hang a heavy fixture overhead. It takes longer to set up than a ladder, and it's the right call at that height.
