The ARC Promise

You deserve to understand the problem and the price before you decide.

We don't charge you just to give you a price. Our electricians aren't paid based on how much you spend. We explain what we recommend and why. You decide what happens next.

No trip charge. No estimate fee. No obligation to buy.
Serving Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina and all of Wake County.

No commission-based sales

Our electricians aren't paid based on how much you spend.

The person helping you understand an electrical problem shouldn't personally benefit from convincing you to spend more.

That's why ARC doesn't pay electricians a sales commission. Their job is to figure out what's happening, explain the options, and recommend what they believe should be done.

Sometimes the right answer is a new panel.Sometimes it isn't.

If a panel replacement or a rewire makes sense, we'll explain why. If a repair or a targeted fix makes sense, we'll explain that too.

How our electricians are paid shouldn't change that recommendation.

Know the price. Make your decision.

Three things that should be true before you spend a dollar on electrical work.

Free in-home quotes

We don't charge you just to give you a price.

You should be able to find out what the work will cost before deciding whether to spend money on it.

That's why our in-home quotes are free. An electrician comes to your home, looks at the panel, the wiring or the problem, and gives you a written price.

  • No trip charge.
  • No estimate fee.
  • No obligation to buy.

Transparent pricing

The price should be clear before the work starts.

A low advertised price doesn't tell you much if the added fees come later.

We explain the work, what's included, and the flat-rate price before you approve it. No hidden fees. No surprise add-ons once the work starts.

If we open a wall or a panel and find something that changes the work needed, we explain it and get your approval on the price before doing that additional work.

No pressure

A quote shouldn't come with a countdown clock.

We'll explain what we recommend and what it costs. Ask questions. Think about it. Compare it. Call us when you're ready.

If something is a genuine safety hazard, we'll tell you plainly, explain why, and tell you what waiting could mean.

You don't owe us a yes because we're standing in your home.

Ask why.

"Ask Why" is one of our internal company principles. We expect our team to understand why they're doing something. If we're asking you to spend thousands of dollars on your home's electrical system, you deserve to understand why, too.

If we can't explain why we're recommending something, we shouldn't be recommending it.

You don't need to know electrical work to ask. It's our job to make the explanation clear.

These are fair questions.

  • What failed, and why did it fail?
  • Why are you recommending this solution?
  • Why does a repair make sense?
  • Why does a panel replacement or a rewire make sense?
  • Is this a safety issue, a code issue, or a preference?
  • What are my other options?

Maybe the price surprised you. Maybe you've been told your panel has to be replaced right away, or that the whole house needs to be rewired. Or maybe you just want another set of eyes on it before making a big decision.

If something about a major electrical repair or replacement quote doesn't sit right, ask ARC to take a look.

  1. Tell us what's going on.

Tell us what you've been told and what you're unsure about. If you have a quote, have it available for the visit.

  2. We come out and look.

A licensed electrician evaluates the problem in your home. The other quote gives us context; we make our own recommendation based on what we find.

  3. You get our recommendation and price.

We'll explain what we believe should be done and why. Then you decide. You're under no obligation to hire ARC.

We may agree with the original recommendation. We may see another option. The point is to help you understand what needs to be done before you commit.

Call or use the form below and mention "second opinion." No trip charge. No estimate fee. No obligation to buy.

Our Work Is Our Signature.

On the wall in our shop it says, "Your Work Is Your Signature." It's a daily reminder to our electricians to do work they're proud to put their name on, even the parts behind the drywall that nobody will see again.

That standard follows us into your home.

When ARC puts its name on work in your home, that work becomes part of our reputation. Our work is our signature.
