Where we work in Angier Angier, from downtown out to the county roads
Angier is ten minutes from our shop, so it gets the same response as Fuquay-Varina does. We cover the town limits, the NC 55 corridor toward Fuquay and the farm roads out NC 210, in Harnett County rather than Wake, which changes who issues your permit (more on that below).
Angier is two towns in one. About 28% of its homes were built before 1980, and one in five date from the 1960s and 70s (U.S. Census Bureau, ACS 2023 5-year, table B25034). That is the era of Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels and of aluminum branch wiring, so on an older Angier home a panel check is usually the first thing we do. Almost half the housing is post-2000 construction, where the calls are EV chargers, generator inlets and finishing a garage.
Most Angier addresses are on Duke Energy Progress; some addresses in and around town are served by Central Electric or South River EMC. Your bill says which, and it matters for EV charger rebates.
Electrical permits inside the town limits go through the Town of Angier Planning & Inspections office. We pull them and book the inspections for you, and the permit fee is its own line on your quote, so there are no surprises.
